Well, epic flying lets you fly around better, meaning you can do dailies and get cheddar faster. Dual-specs increases your versatility, which for a DK can mean the difference between getting into a dungeon or not getting into a dungeon, or dungeonning and PVPing and stuff.

Depends if you want gear now or cheddar now.

Flying to farm for ore faster to get cheddar back to dual spec to get into dungeons faster to get better gear sooner.

I only have 1000 gold. Epic flying cost 1000, duel spec cost 1000.

You mean Northrend flying right? Because last I checked EPIC flying is like 5k.

If you've already got 22 slots, do you really need the extra 2 slots? I would go for the Hog, personally, unless you're constantly finding yourself running out of space. 3k is still a lot for only a couple of slots though, in my opinion.


Just recently resubscribed, and have Dual-specced my lock into Destro-PvE and Afflic-PvE. I've been doing good DPS as Destro for ages, but Affliction is awsome; 18k ticks on Drain Soul below 25% health? Yes please, kthx. Don't think I'll be bothering with real hardcore (or at least dedicated) raiding until Cata hits either, as others in this thread have mentioned, although the ocassional ICC pug is good fun. I always think if there are other players in the pug (and there often are) that are playing badly, it just gives you the chance to shine! Or something.
