Probably old news, but it basically includes the flavor text and/or retconning that explains why the Echo Isles and Gnomeregan haven't been taken back yet.

If ya care about lore, they are pretty good reads... A solid retcon as to why Zalazane isn't dead despite having been killed countless times in low level quests. And a part near the end about Vol'jin and his father Sen'jin that almost started making me cry.

That guild name unfortunately made me spit out my soda.

My favorite guild name on my server was "of the Whale." For some reason it just made me smile. The guild I created had a boring name, "Honor Guide Us." But some other names I loved were:

PANK Bubblegum Tigers
Star Onion Brigaders
The Snuggletron Collective

Actually I take that back. The last one kinda scares me.

The Gnomergan/Echo Isles things is a bit older news but its going to be part of the push to Cataclysm. Eventually they will patch in those quests where you can go retake both areas in prep for the expansion. Same as with the Ruby Sanctum they are adding as the progression of the lore in prep for Cata.

...Of the Whale is a reference to old items which were named like Bone Dagger of the Monkey or Bone Dagger of the Whale. The Whale gave useless stats like Spirit and something else, I think stam maybe and gathered a lot of hate :P
