It helps me weed out uneeded talents for certain builds (combat raid, combat solo mix, assassination pvp) while finding talents that better suit other areas and creating speed leveling builds.

If they lock other trees until you invest in ultimate abilities then I am screwed to have killing spree in all my builds before I can go for anything else.

Noooo- well they can stand to remove blade twisting, improved gouge, and throwing specialization from the combat tree for rogues. But otherwise it's just fine the way it is.


I found a perfect talent build system for rogues in their older cataclysm talent trees that just 2 rogues (maybe both having a little variance in spec builds) could act as tanks, their own healers, and all the DPS they would ever need to duo anything. What with the new self heal finisher and +10% armor per point talent.

They are changing the talent trees to be like 31 pts again so what you see now is completely different from what it will be.

I'm going for BC instance bosses (heroic or regular) and WotLK bosses (regular) as well as vanilla raids (not AQ40 mind you) and this guy.
The build has been tested with a crappy Blood specced DK assisting me and all I needed was extra parry, dodge, armor, and a self heal.

... too bad it's not going to work with the NEW new tree builds...

Same with shamans not being able to purge poisons and tree form for druids now being a timed state like metamoprhosis; I don't play them so why should I worry?
