Is it odd that I'm more excited about the talent changes than the new race and class?

Of course not, the new talent changes are awesome. For example:

Summon motherfucking Shivan, Beholder, Abyssal, and Terrorfiend.

Fuck the people raging. I love those little panda bastards.

Not sure about new talent system yet, because I can't play around with it mainly.

Looking at mage talents right now and not feeling any urge to come back. Here's a tip Blizzard. Stripping core spells from a class and making them "talents" is not creative or revolutionary. It just pisses off the class.

Jesus, man, every time you talk about WoW, you say about how you're never ever coming back, not ever. Like, every time.

Why bother complaining about this when you know your not coming back anyway?

You could ask the same thing about all those people that post on the WoW forums about how they aren't coming back.

That too.

Its just like, why bother complaining now, it doesn't concern you anymore. You don't play the game, so why do you care?

Because it's sad to see a game falling when it once was such a pleasure to play. I started before Molten Core even released, and have seen the game evolve along the way, the good and the bad.

But the game hasn't fallen. Its gotten bigger and better every year, with more and more people subscribing. Hell, it took seven straight years for people to start getting burnt out and taking off. Thats a lot longer than most games can say.

The numbers have remained the same since 2008 you realize.

And I'm not talking about accounts, but rather the skill level of the average player. As the game got easier, the players got dumber.

It's also a 7 year old game now. There's that to consider.

I dunno if I'm going to return, but there are some compelling things...

Yeah, I can tell you haven't played in a while.

Yeah, I can tell you haven't played in a while.

Don't even try refuting it, you know it's true. As the older, more experienced players cancelled their accounts from burnout, newer players moved in to take their place. Players who stand in the fire, don't face the boss from the group, or spin it everywhere, pull as DPS, roll need on off-spec, wear greens in a raid, tank 2H when not a Death Knight, pull below 1K DPS, etc, etc.

Started in Wrath and has only kept going to Cata, which I did play until just prior to Firelands. So not that long ago.

I know that older players are leaving because they're getting burnt out from over seven years of play, yes.

But I rarely see the godawful players that people like you complain about. And even then, they're not hard to handle.

And you know what? I think I may be in the absolute minority, but I DON'T utterly loathe new players. Besides, I'm getting pretty sick of the "Don't be new on MY time" attitude that becoming shockingly common these days, as demonstrated by you. As a healer, its not hard to correct them.
