I am going to be as respectful as I can when I say this, but... I do not agree with that Darmanitan. When I get my charger I am drawing a chubby Darmanitan. Because... well, Darmanitan are chubby.
That lineart is cute, but it just doesn't look like a Darmanitan to me!

Yeah, I kind of noticed that halfway, but I'm just used to drawing people really skinny.

When I look at Darmanitan, I don't see chubby, I see muscle.

Everyone has different ideas for gijinka. If you do not like the way someone draws a gijinka, that's fine. But saying you dislike it to their face is disrespectful, and stating you'll draw another one instead demeans all the effort they put into their drawing.

That is unacceptable, and I don't want to see this behavior from anyone in this thread. This is supposed to be fun, not a competition to see whose gijinka is better.

Yes, I know that. Form vs. Function. Hell, the Electivire I did has a belly with muscular arms, the kind you see on a construction worker or firefighter, which is what I was referencing. That has absolutely nothing to do with my point that people interpret things differently and it's poor form to call someone out for how they decided to do their interpretation.

Also nice job Zang! Just please tell me if you're going to do a gijinka next time so myself and others know that it's taken and I can change the first post to reflect that.

Nah, the only indicator is the roundness right at the pants line. I'm not bothering shading these since I will go over them in Copics and pen soon - I don't want to put in more work than necessary since I'll erase it anyway.
