Damnit. We lost the detective already? I really don't like the idea of relying on our Gumshoe.

you cant rely on the gumshoe, 50% chance of being told a guilty is innocent and vice-versa. The role was a negative town role, just to make it harder on the detective to figure out if he actually was.

I guess we'll have to dock his pay again.

I didn't die on night 1! Yay!

Though this now means we have a useless Gumshoe.
We're screwed from now on.

Not if we put our wits together, and if the Journalist happens to be lucky enough to catch a murder.

Im actually enjoying the roles this game. Though the yatagarasu roll does seem sketchy. Ahwell.

Welp. This sucks for the town.

Anyone have any ideas on a lynch target, or should we wait for more information? Without a detective we're a bit boned, but at the same time, it really can't help to pick off innocents.

So far no one seems suspicious to me... So I dunno. :/

Yep we lost detective may as well roll over and die now.

Or town could try something new and SCUMHUNT FOR GOD'S SAKE.

We have enough numbers to risk a random lynch, and either way we should wait for everyone to post something of worth before we make the decision.

No, we're not dead yet, but my point was that we're in a worse place than usual thanks to the detective being gone.

Especially in a game where proof is pretty much the best bet.

What proof? the only one who can give anything resembling such now is the photographer, and even then a mafia could just come and say "Kamak visited Supaaku the night he died, gaiz." and pretend being the photographer.

Random Lynching. I'm putting my vote with Noffletoff.

The way I see it, we can't ride on proof since one half of our reliable investigators is gone, and every day without a lynch is another townie lost, another risk of losing a power role. And yeah, I know that random lynching will also possibly kill a townie, but think about it like this:

No Lynch: 100% chance of non-mafia death the next night, 0% chance of killing a mafia that day.
Random Lynch: 66%* chance of non-mafia death, 33%* chance of killing a mafia.
*These percentages are based on number of factions, not number of people

An investigated lynch would obviously end up with a 50% of the kill being Mafia, with the other half of that being a Miller, but if the investigators come out then they're most certainly dead and any good they could be doing, halted. So our only options are random lynch or no lynch, but with no lynch we will most certainly lose someone, whereas if we random lynch we have that sliver of luck that we hit a Mafia. I say a chance of losing a Mafia is better than forfeiting any chance we have just to lose another townie.

I just remembered we still have the Yatagarasu who can investigate like detective. Only problem is the one who is not with town who will probably try to take them off of the mafias.

I'm going with No Lynch, for now. I don't like the idea of random lynching, but it'll be all we've got without the detective. I'd rather wait it out. I may change my vote later, but I'm 60% 40% against Random Lynch.
