That might be reasonable if there were a lot of spells that needed changing. The two fire using specs have three mainstay spells that aren't green; soul fire, immolate and incinerate (and perhaps conflagrate, if you wanna stretch it).

The 'technical limitations' bit might have been legitimate, I guess, if there wasn't a (technically illegal, hah) mod that already makes the fire green.

Honestly, they have no excuses.

Mages rock. I have Fire/Frost dual PvE spec going on because they're both fun as hell. Fire has the higher potential for damage between the two, however.

Fire is the highest DPS spec of all in 4.3
Frost is the lowest

Alright, so I'll be switching when I level then. Wanted to try out the spec I never used but it looks like Fire got some fun toys in Cata so I'll be throwing around DoTs like crazy just like old times.

Level 85 and Molten Front stuff unlocked/epic necklace bought. And now it's 150 more Marks until the next phase. Yay. Also trying to do the Where In the Planes is Thrall as a newly 85 is tough when mobs smash me in the face for 10K. But I got it done and got the epic cloak. Eight more ilevel points until I can do heroics.
