I met someone IRL who has his own private server (wrath, pre shattering, all the good old stuff without all the new good stuff) and he has allowed me to dick around on there and calculate what all I'd need, and then I walked into ICC and got myself killed and now I can't enter ICC to revive because you need to be in a raid group or alive and a GM to enter. (he doesn't have people on there, just him accessing it)

So I'm going to have to start from scratch for when I see him next.


Now if only I could find some other private server that is cataclysm based... then I could REALLY do more research for what would be needed...

I played Molten WoW for a bit, but it's still buggy as hell despite being the best Cata private server.

I use Divinity-X, it's an all-GM server (commands are restricted because noobishness) but the catch is that it's 4.0.3 based.

So I recently got myself a game time card (completely forgot about Scroll of Rezzing til now) so that means I can scrollrez someone.
I'm using my in-game rez to bring my brother back for a free mount, but I can also use one from my bnet account settings. Just tell me what server and faction you want it on and I'll make a toon there.

Or, alternatively, think of this as a way to try out that class you've always wanted but was too lazy to level, because the Scroll of Rezzing gives you a free boost to level 80.



I'm not sure if you can redeem the server/faction change and the boost to 80 on different toons though.

Killed Algalon last night and got Starcaller title. Also went back to Arcane, because Fire has always been my one true spec but it just doesn't cut it against Arcane's power. Who cares about DoTs when my spells can hit for 35K on their own?

And I looked and it appears you can only do the realm transfer or the level 80 boost on the one character, no splitting rewards across toons.

You mean I can't have 80 level 2s?

You can't have that anyway. The max character limit is 50. :I

But what I mean is that you have to either move the character, ding him to 80, or both, and you can only use it on one character.

If anyone else wants a Scroll I can throw them one.

Well, clearly I am deserving of all the scrolls ever, but that is beside the point.
